Historic Preservation Design Guidelines for review of local landmark properties within the City of Cleveland Heights.  The Design Guidelines identify historic architectural building styles in Cleveland Heights and provide further understanding of the local Historic Preservation Ordinance including application of the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation. Review and update of the Landmark Commission Ordinance for clarity and consistency with the Historic Preservation Design Guidelines.  The overall goal was to create a cohesive program to maintain the character-defining features of Landmark properties within the City of Cleveland Heights.  The update was accomplished in collaboration with City Planning, the Law Department, the Landmark Commission, and SHPO with public meetings and participation.
