The $2M rehabilitation project was awarded $249,000 from Round 17 OHPTC and will take advantage of $500,000 from Federal HPTC.
Historic Preservation Tax Credit (HPTC) rehabilitation project for the Bloch Block, an 1868 Italianate Warehouse located in the Cleveland Warehouse Historic District. The Warehouse District is Cleveland’s premier downtown neighborhood and home to approximately 3,000 residents. The walkable neighborhood contains residential amenities and is within minutes of the Lake, River and entertainment districts. The Bloch Block was one of the last remaining buildings to be renovated in the vibrant historic district. The mixed-use rehabilitation maintains commercial tenants on the first floor and introduces 12 market rate apartments on the upper floors. The project was completed in October 2018.
