Historic Preservation Tax Credit (HPTC) rehabilitation project for the 65,000 sf former Foundry Equipment Co. complex. The complex, located in the Cleveland Centre Historic District encompasses seven buildings spanning circa 1900 to 1965. The buildings exhibit Romanesque and Commercial style factory low-rise architecture. The rehabilitation was conducted by The Foundry for the purposes of creating a High-Performance Rowing and Sailing Training Center along the Cuyahoga River. The development includes offices, assembly space, visiting coaches’ quarters, training facilities, locker rooms, boat houses, and an indoor rowing tank house.
